Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is the final month of 2013 and therefore the final month we will be using this year’s solar chart. As always, I will endeavor to get out the yearly summaries in January foregoing the Monthly Horoscope for January.
Your ruler is changing signs into Libra, the ruler of all things even keel and egalitarian. Mars doesn’t much like this position, but it can bring a little bit more love your way if you are so inclined to find it. The fact that it is sitting in your house of long term relationships may give you an impetus to find that special someone during the holiday mayhem. Be sure to go to any holiday parties you are invited to attend. You may be more argumentative with those you are close to and more irritable, but it isn’t really worth making someone angry unless they truly deserve it, in which case do what you must.
Jupiter isn’t sitting in an auspicious spot in your solar chart as the holiday season gets under way, but that doesn’t mean it is not doing its buoyant thing on your behalf. In fact on the 12th it will be quite happily entwined with Saturn, and even though Saturn has the upper hand that doesn’t mean you won’t be secretly enjoying all the happenings. Just be careful that you don’t undermine your 4th house foundations while you are having such a good time.
The first week of December has your good intentions at odds with your ability to follow through, which can be frustrating but in the long run could save you from something that you had not thought through.
The 3rd week of December has the planet of crazies and eccentrics moving into direct motion. If you encountered some strange happenings back in July that inhibited your ability to move forward, you will be able to see your way clear by the beginning of the new year. This might have to do with something of a rather public nature, especially if you have an interest in any type of public career. You are definitely an innovative force in your field and hopefully your bosses will believe you can elicit great changes in your arena of influence. This can be a time when you truly come into your own and make a name for yourself, especially if you are involved in something like mechanical engineering, architecture, military strategy or coaching strenuous, athletic sporting events.
As the year winds down you can see the way forward and dream your way into the New Year with a plan and a stout heart towards making them come true.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is the final month of 2013 and therefore the final month we will be using this year’s solar chart. As always, I will endeavor to get out the yearly summaries in January foregoing the Monthly Horoscope for January.
As the month begins you may need to take some time to help take care of your pet, a sibling or a female friend; this isn’t something to be overly concerned about but make yourself available if they should need a ride from the hospital or just a caring soul to watch over them while they convalesce.
Responsibility is being tested by exuberance and gregarious energy mid-month, and since the more excitable energies are less strong, I think they should be allowed free reign, as opposed to being repressed by the creepy, established dictates of a rather demented Saturn. This is because jealousy, envy and greed are weighing in here and no one likes that. I am not even going to say where this energy is coming from, but if you read me regularly, you know where your problem is. Again, I am so glad to be parting with your current solar chart because I am so sick of saying the same thing to you. If I were you I would have a special little seance or purging of some sort at the end of the year to mark the occasion of your freedom from this year’s energies.
Uranus, the planet of coincidence, eccentrics and the future will move direct the third week of the month, which will bring with it a real zest for the forward motion of all things avant garde in your natal chart. You must understand however, when dealing with astrology, most of what is relayed in a horoscope has to do with a basic (and sadly generalizing) solar chart, which is what you are getting here and on every other astrology site. Each of us has a very personal chart based upon the moment we are born and the place (if we are lucky enough to have someone who actually wrote down the time) which carries considerably more impact and holds many more truths.
At any rate, as Uranus moves forward, the world will take note because everything Uranus does is done in a more immediate manner with more urgency than any of the other planets. This would be a great year to buy your child the gift of a lifetime (new car?) or take an impromptu vacation with someone you just met, or have become reacquainted after a long separation. If you are harboring a huge secret, you should probably get prepared for some sort of life changing event associated with it. Suffice it to say that if I were looking at a configuration of just this type in a natal chart I would advise the person to expect a life altering event to occur: If not now, then certainly by the end of 2014 after Uranus and Pluto will have had their last tango.
Your holiday, assuming you do a celebratory thing this month, looks lovely. You can get together with good friends who live far away, old college buddies home for a while or even find some element of Truth in your life. I think something shall make you very satisfied and happy by the time 2014 arrives.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is the final month of 2013 and therefore the final month we will be using this year’s solar chart. As always, I will endeavor to get out the yearly summaries in January foregoing the Monthly Horoscope for January.
As I write these horoscopes I have a feeling that much of what I am writing for the early signs may already be in play and in some cases is already history. I’m afraid the charts get a little moldy by the end of the year and even start being a little off for some of the signs which occur earlier in the line-up. This includes you and the other five signs of the beginning of the zodiac realm. As stated above, I will have the new year’s offerings out sometime in January, hopefully by the 1st.
A couple of noteworthy events this month include the movement of Mars into Libra on the 7th, which will impact your child and creativity house. This means that you will meet with some difficulties in these areas, but it will also make you wish to concentrate some energy here. If you have a male child, his friends could be influential here. If you are on the dating scene, you could meet someone who you have a physical connection with but who will only be interested in a relationship which is more egalitarian, rather than a more traditional romantic one. This isn’t to say there won’t be romance, but I wouldn’t send out wedding announcements any time soon.
As Christmas looms (the 25th for those of you who don’t partake) you will be contending with the house of power. This can mean the neighbors kids are getting way better presents than yours and you are going to hear about it. Or it could mean that you are given a little piece of the big time and you really need to utilize it with forethought so you can keep it.
Uranus will move directions, going back into direct motion on the 17th and this is most certainly a noteworthy occasion. This rather rebellious attitude will muster forth in your house of groups, making you prone to participating in impromptu mob behavior. That is sad. Don’t do that. A better use of this energy would be to join, better yet form, a group of individualists (Uranus is in Aries after all) that can formulate ways to utilize the freedoms available to you: Or maybe organizing the area pick-up basketball teams into a group that can play in a league together.
Another potential has to do with rejoining a group to which you used to belong or took a hiatus from over the last year or so. You might even be asked to be the leader of this group.
Some of your exuding genius could catch the attention of someone who has a lot of aggressive schmoozing ability and who could take on your cause or the cause of your group. This can turn out very well for all of you if you find the right agent or representative. Even if you are put off by someone at first, hear them out and decide after they give you their input as to whether you want them around you.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Your energy level is shifting a bit this month towards your home and family, the area of Cancer’s domain. This is a great thing if you celebrate the holidays this month as it will give you the extra boost you need to get things done. You will also be able to enlist the help of a partner or friend to make things go more smoothly. Any male guests you may have this year might prove to be a little more gregarious than you are used to, so put away the whatnots and china.
The most prominent astrological energy this month is that of the movement to direct motion of Uranus on the 17th. Uranus carries a pretty potent punch and when he does anything it usually will be felt pretty definitively. You have this energy happening at the uppermost sector of your solar chart, making this a time when you could be going through some changes which will be public in nature. This might have to do with your career. This is especially significant if you work with the public in any way, as a politician or even a school teacher. You may be recognized for your achievements now and this can do a lot for your sense of self- worth. Those who have worked hard on a project with a group of people will very likely receive accolades for their contribution, perhaps at the company holiday party.
If you celebrate Christmas, and even if you don’t, the 25th appears to have your more intimate relationships taking some of your time, and if they aren’t…they should. This includes romantic, life partners as well as best friends.

Either way, you may be involved in some way with their finances. This same set of extremes can also manifest through a person you are involved with romantically.

While Mars is in your sign you may have a few problems with overdoing things, and be particularly careful about straining your muscles or bumping into things.

Make sure all of your financial dealings are aboveboard now and don’t hide anything from your spouse.
The 13th has a definite focus on communications and short trips, which may have to do with holiday plans or just with administrative duties within your job. This emphasis will carry over into the holidays and you may want to touch base with your extended family for some reason. Female relatives, neighbors or some issues involving money owed to a roommate could come up. If you are in buying mode for the holidays it looks like everyone wants some sort of communication device, a vehicle or some sort of expensive item.

In some cases this might have to do with your best friend introducing you to people who are members of some group to which they belong. Be careful of taking up with people you just meet and getting involved in a business deal. Do a little more research and don’t agree to anything until after March 2014 when Jupiter goes direct.

The best news for you in a while, astrologically speaking, will come later in the month around the 17th when your ruler, Uranus, resumes forward motion. This is an excellent auspice and will put you back on track in whatever your endeavors might be.
